"MERAJUT NUSANTARA" EXHIBITION AT NATIONAL MUSEUM OF INDONESIA

14th MARCH 2020 ~ There was another big exhibition in one of the halls of the National Museum of Indonesia. Entitled "Merajut Nusantara", I think the theme of the exhibition had to do something with fashion, photography and poetry.

The place was huge and spacious and not many people were visiting on that day so we could spend a lot of time there. I was glad there was this exhibition going on so we could hang out longer in the museum as there were no other tourists attractions to go to during the C-19 pandemic in Jakarta.

14th MARCH 2020 ~ There were a lot of paintings on display, to my delight. Hence we spent more time in the exhibition hall, observing and admiring the colourful and beautiful work of art. The themes were of nature and people.

How I wish I was born with the talent to draw and paint. I might have the interest but I know that is not going to help.

THE ART GALLERY AT THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF INDONESIA - PART ONE

14th MARCH 2020 - The huge National Museum of Indonesia building also housed the Art Gallery which would something I would not miss visiting. The last time I went to see paintings and related work of art was during my visit to Rangoon, Myanmar, in December 2019.

The best thing about this place was that visitors were allowed to bring in their cameras and take as many photos as they wished. 💝
