SMK DATO' JAAFAR'S TEACHERS AND STAFF BOWLING TOURNAMENT 2023

The Staff Room Club of SMK Dato' Jaafar organized a bowling tournament today at Lite Superbowl, Pelangi Leisure Mall. The event started after school at about 2:30 p.m. The last time we had a bowling game was before the C19 pandemic.

I was with my very own Pink House team members, founded 2017. We were there not to win, obviously, but to have fun and support the Staff Room Club committee members who had taken a lot of effort to organize this game.

One of the staff at the Lite Superbowl is an ex-student of SMK Taman Universiti, Mr. Saiful.

By 4:30 p.m., we had the prize giving ceremony and someone had to give away the prizes to the winners.

Thanks to the committee members and the participants who had made this event a success. We were all happy as no one went home empty handed this time. Everyone was a winner. 😀

THE PRACTICE SESSION BEFORE THE REAL TOURNAMENT

Three of the group members decided to go for a practice session before the real bowling tournament tomorrow which is organized by the SMK Dato Jaafar's Staff Room Club. We went to the real arena at Pelangi Leisure Mall and surprisingly there were no other colleagues there.

We played three games as it was cheaper than playing two. After all the hard work and calories burned, we marched off to Marrybrown on the ground floor to replace all the energy lost.

SMK DATO' JAAFAR'S BOWLING TOURNAMENT 3.0

A bowling tournament for the teachers and staff of SMK Dato' Jaafar, Johor Bahru, was held at Lite Superbowl Pelangi Leisure Mall. It was organized by the committee members of the Staff Room Club. There were two competitions done last year so this should be its continuation.

There were 12 teams participating this year and each comprised of 4 bowlers. We were there after school at 2.30 p.m. and by 5.00, everyone made their way back home already.

As usual there were always winners and losers but the most important thing was everybody had had fun bowling. Hoping for another tournament in the second half of the year. 

THE SECOND BOWLING TOURNAMENT FOR THE TEACHERS AND STAFF FOR 2019

The second bowling tournament for SMK Dato Jaafar's teachers and staff were held on 31st July 2019 at Pelangi Leisure Mall. It was either people had so much fun during the first time they wanted to play again or some people were unhappy they lost so they wanted a rematch. As for my group members and I, we just wanted to wear our pink shirts again.

Members of the pink house as expected did not win but we did not go home empty-handed.

It was one fun afternoon. We should have this kind of activity once in a while, just to forget the piling work at school, and at home as well.
