THE LUNCH DATE AT SEDAP CORNER

We did not meet last weekend for our regular gastronomic adventure because of the Election Day. To make up for the session, we went on a lunch date during Mr. Redzuan's lunch break. The chosen venue was Sedap Corner at Jalan Abdul Samad.

Even though the food here I would consider overpriced, there were a lot of people coming during lunch hour.

It was one short dine in session as my friend had to get back to work at 2:00 p.m. We might resume with our gastronomic adventure this weekend.

HAVING LUNCH AT SEDAP CORNER IN PLAZA ANGSANA

Sedap Corner is one restaurant that was found many years ago in Johor Bahru and is still operating, with a few branches in town. Puan Maslinda and I decided to get lunch there after we found the first restaurant in Plaza Angsana we went into had very few items in the menu.

My Chicken Chop + Rice was good and Puan Maslinda's Mee Bandung tasted much better than the one I had had for breakfast in the morning [READ HERE]. I will recommend this place to other people if they are asking me for suggestions of an eating place in town.

THE AFTER SCHOOL GASTRONOMIC ADVENTURE WITH THE MEMBERS OF THE LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT

Someone wanted to celebrate the good results for the language subjects in the recent SPM examination so members of the Language Department of SMK Dato' Jaafar drove to Sedap Corner Restaurant which was just nearby right after school. Unfortunately, 

Unfortunately, a few could not make it as they had other official events to attend.

Lunch was served and the food was good. Everybody seemed to enjoy the meal and was ready to go home like after an hour.

It was not just the food that made people happy but the happy people at work that matter the most. I am looking forward to at least one more gathering like this next month.

THE FAREWELL GATHERING JUST NEVER ENDS

Another farewell party was thrown for the transferring Principal of SMK Dato' Jaafar, Mr. Kharuddin Abdul Rauf who was sent to SMK Dato' Abdul Rahman Yassin. This time, the lunch was organized by the school's group of administrators.

The venue chosen was Sedap Corner at Jalan Abdul Samad. The last time I came to this place was a VERY long time ago. Things sure had changed a lot and now there were robots serving food to customers.

It was just a short gathering but sure was a significant one. Hope to see Mr. Kharuddin some other time in the future at some other places.
