DONGDAEMUN UNDERGROUND SHOPPING CENTER

These are the underground shops that could be found in the "tunnel" that connects subway stations or underground pedestrians walkway. So as you are walking, you can always shop.

I really loved the colourful traditional hanbok but that would be one item I would not buy. I wanted to buy the mattress cover but I had doubt I could fit the whole thing in my luggage bag. It looked a bit bulky to be carried into the cabin.

Next time if I go to Seoul, I will make sure I will buy the mattress cover.

DONGDAEMUN - THE STREETS OF FASHION

10th JUNE 2015 ~ We had to go back and stay in Seoul for one more night from Jeju Island, before catching our flight back home the next morning. With a few hours remaining, we went to the nearby shopping centres again and this time, we entered the malls and had a closer look at the items on sale.

By looking at the shirts, dresses, pants and what-not displayed in the shops and malls, I could easily conclude the Koreans are very fashionable people.

I was, however, only looking and not buying.

CHEONG GYE CHEON STREAM AT DONGDAEMUN

I do not really know what the name of this particular stream in Dongdaemun and after I googled for more information, this could be the extension of the Cheong Gye Cheon Stream that I saw earlier [READ HERE]. We were here quite late in the evening and there were people sitting on both sides of the stream enjoying the view.

the water  so clear, you could see fish swimming

If you vote for me in the coming general election, I promise you that I will develop a recreational area something like this in the city centre. Oh like that is going to happen...
