FOUR WEDDINGS BACK-TO-BACK

~ SATURDAY, 30th AUGUST 2014 ~

WEDDING #1

The first wedding reception was held by Puan Hajah Ruhanah at Taman Sri Pulai, our counselling teacher, for his son Mr. Azry whom I once taught him English in a tuition class. He was also an ex-student of SMKTUN before going to other few schools. Met other friends and ex-students and also Puan Hajah Ruhanah's other children who were my ex-students.

WEDDING #2

There was another wedding reception that was also held at Taman Sri Pulai. Puan Haliza Yunus who was once an English teacher in SMKTUN invited me to her son's wedding reception and it was very thoughtful of her even though we have not seen each other for quite some time. There were also other old friends and ex-students at the hall, as usual.

WEDDING #3

The third wedding reception was held at Taman Mutiara Rini. It was the wedding of Mr. Shahril's, an old friend who is also a teacher, sister-in-law. I only saw one ex-student who happened to be working part-time with the caterer for the event.

WEDDING #4

The last reception was done at Dewan Cahaya TNB in Kempas. The father of the bridegroom is an officer at the Johor Bahru District Education Office. I decided to go as he is the nicest officer around.

And more receptions coming my way tomorrow. *sigh*

BOYS' DAY OUT

29th August ~ Someone came back for his short semester break so it was a good time to meet up and hang out. It was just a movie session followed by dinner at my favourite food court, and obviously I had made a good choice. So thanks Mr. Muhammad Faiz for the short rendezvous and made me not so sad for a short while. Hope to see you again some other time. Let's plan earlier for a more extensive outing trip.

REMNANT OF THE PAST - PART 1

This short meeting with the SMKTUN teachers of the afternoon session took place on Thursday, 21st August 2014. I just had to say a few words to my colleagues/friends on the last day before leaving. It was a difficult thing to bid farewell to friends who have been together with me for so long and I had been seeing them more in my life than seeing my own relatives. It was just heartbreaking but this was not a reason people of a higher authority would consider to force you to go to other place they think would be best for you.

a special present from the afternoon teachers

I am already missing my friends over there. And my students too. :(

IT'S A WHOLE NEW WORLD FOR ME

27th August 2014 ~ I was finally at SMK Mutiara Rini, Johor Bahru, to start my duty as the Senior Assistant of Students' Affair (PK HEM). I am writing this post because I want to remember the date. I don't want to remember the moment - it was just too sad and painful.
