A SHORT STOP AT SAVANNA HILL IN BROMO

   26TH JULY 2025    ~ Another attraction in Bromo area was the Savanna Hill a.k.a Teletubbies Hill. The place was another vast lowland with green hills in the background. The plants which were mostly ferns, were all dried and had turned brown. The search on Google, however, showed images of this area which was covered by lush, green grasses and plants. The reason: the draught had changed the landscape.

This place was also called Teletubbies Hill because of the resemblance of the setting with the television series. I was just hoping the colourful creatures would emerge from the hills and that of course did not happen.

The brownish hue had actually created an artistic impact to the photos taken here. An excellent spot to be chosen for a wedding photoshoot session.

Everybody was busy honing his/her photography skills. Not only that, we also had to act in a video production for Agent Surabaya Travel. We were all obliging tour members and we sure had had a lot of fun.
