WHEN EID IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER [PART 2]
4 more days before Eid arrives this year. 2 more days before the school breaks for a 1-week holiday.
Time is running out. I could only continue doing the household chores after the Tarawikh prayers, which would be after 10.00 p.m. Sometimes I feel like I am doing an extreme makeover to the house and this happens annually.
Oh God, please make me stronger. :)

WHEN EID IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER
Eid is just around the corner and the madness has already begun.
This will be the time I will be more anxious, rather than excited, to welcome Eid. With a series of meetings and Iftar (breaking fast) in school, there is no way I can go back home early and spend more time to do the necessary preparation. I will have to think of small things that could be done in one day.
The cleaning was done today but that was just the beginning.
God please give me strength.

WHEN EID IS AROUND THE CORNER.... [PART ONE]
I miss the time when life was not yet complicated. The arrival of Eid would be something that I had not to worry about. However, that was all history. These days, when Eid is around the corner, I get more and more nervous as there will be tonnes of things that are yet to be done. It is not easy to juggle housework and school work but someone still has to do the dirty job. :)
My house, fortunately or unfortunately, is a "kampung" house (read: not a terrace house) so there are many sections and parts that have to be cleaned, inside and outside. Lucky enough, I am only put in-charge of the labour work and someone else will have to do the finishing touch. I am glad I have started early but there are still other chores to be done and the list seems to be endless. *sigh*
SECTION B
I took the photos during the breaks. I posted this entry to EITHER motivate you people out there to start doing your spring cleaning OR to remind you that you have ONLY about 5 more days before Eid. :)

TO SPRING OR NOT TO SPRING
With just two more days before the arrival of Eid, everyone is already busy. The list of things to do seems endless and the priority may vary. One of the must-do will definitely be spring-cleaning the house and lucky to those who either have a small space to manage or a lot of people to do everything together.
The process of cleaning and decorating may take some time and this is just a step-by-step example of how things are done. (And I was only in-charge of the cleaning part.)

SPRING CLEANING TIME IN SCHOOL
Today was a public holiday for people in Johor. Thank God but because I had time to spend at home but it was the chance for me to do the necessity - spring cleaning in school. With determination in my heart and the assistance of four students, we started work at about 12 noon. They boys had to go home at 6:00 but after teh tarik session, I stayed on until 9:00 p.m. I was happy though now my room looked more, what should I say, like a room.
There are more things to be done actually, like hanging the curtains and putting a vase of flowers on the table perhaps. That is actually one part of the room. I hope I can do the same thing to one more part of my place this weekend. Determination is the key to success.
[Thanks to Asyraf, Syahir, Hanif and Hafizul for the help. There will always be a next time.]
