ATTENDING SITI NUR FATIHHA'S WEDDING RECEPTION

Another ex-student of SMK Taman Universiti [SPM batch 2011], Ms. Siti Nur Fatihha Rahimi, got married today. I was invited and I gladly attended the event which was held at the parents' house in Taman Universiti.

There were not many people when I arrived. People had come much earlier because it rains almost everyday in the afternoon here these few days.

Congratulations to the newly-wedded couple. Wishing both of you happiness throughout your marriage life.

MY HOMETOWN GASTRONOMIC ADVENTURE - WOODFIRE BURGER

The latest food craze eating spot had been opened and luckily someone had agreed to give it a try. It is located at the food court in Taman Suria, opposite Giant Hypermart which is very near to my house.

I arrived there at about 8:20 p.m. and there was already a long queue forming in front of the counter. After the order had been made and paid, one would get the number and have to wait for his turn. And by 8.45 p.m., the stall was already out of food and the counter was closed for order.

If you are wondering, how long did we have to wait for our food, it was about one hour and fifteen minutes. We were told  (by someone reliable) there was some sort of technical matter  in the kitchen which had caused the delay.

It was worth all the wait nevertheless. The burger was something to die for. You could also get other western food here like steaks.

It was past the business hour when a kitchen staff, who happened to be an ex-student of SMK Taman Universiti, Mr. Muhammad Zul Helmie, came out from the stall. We managed to chat for a short while before we made our way back home.

I must thank Mr. Zharfan Amir [SPM batch 2011] for the dinner treat at Woodfire. We shall meet again in the upcoming outing, and it will  be my turn next. 

ATTENDING MR. FAKHRUN RAHMAN'S WEDDING RECEPTION

Today I attended the wedding reception of Mr. Fakhrun Rahman Abdul Karim, an ex-student of SMK Taman Universiti [SPM batch 2011] at Taman Pulai Utama.

ATTENDING HAMIDAH HAMDAN'S WEDDING RECEPTION

I went to attend the wedding reception of Miss Hamidah Hamdan [SPM batch 2011] held at Paris Hotel, Bukit Indah today. His brother, Mr. Hamzah Hamdan [SMKTUN SPM 2006] is also an ex-student of mine and both the parents are people I know well.

I just saw a few familiar faces when I was there so not much socializing was done today.

Congratulations to the lovely couple. May your days ahead be filled with lasting joy.

ATTENDING MR. SYAFIQ KAMARUDDIN'S WEDDING RECEPTION

I attended a wedding reception of Mr. Syafiq Kamaruddin held at his parents' house in Taman Universiti. The groom is an ex-student of SMK Taman Universiti, from SPM batch 2008 but he left for a boarding school after form 3. I managed to get his ex-classmate to go together with me and met the groom's younger brother, Mr. Syazwan Kamaruddin, who is also an ex-student from SPM batch 2011.

Wishing the bride and groom everlasting happiness throughout their married lives together.

I attended two wedding receptions today which involved four ex-students of SMKTUN. There were only three pairs of brides and grooms. How could that be possible?

ATTENDING TWO EX-STUDENTS' WEDDING RECEPTIONS IN ONE AFTERNOON

I had two ex-colleagues cum friends cum one ex-student who decided to attend the wedding together, Puan Yusidah Md. Yusof and Puan Arba'iyah Ahmad. As usual, there were many familiar faces from SMK Taman Universiti that we saw at the venue, many of whom I could not remember their names or which batch they belonged to.

The number of ex-students of SMK Taman Universiti marrying each other has now increased.

Unfortunately, both the bride and groom were already out for their outdoor wedding photo shoot session. So now wedding photos with newly-wedded couple.

By the time we arrived at 3:30 p.m., there were not many people around anymore but there were still a few ex-colleagues that I managed to see.
