BIDDING JAKARTA FAREWELL FOR THE THIRD TIME AT SOEKARNO HATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

   25TH FEBRUARY 2025    ~ It was time to bid farewell to Jakarta and Indonesia for the third time at Soekarno Hatta International Airport. This trip had no specific itinerary and the main objective was  just to try to the Panoramic Train and Whoosh Train on Jakarta - Bandung - Jakarta route.

I arrived at the airport quite early, hence I had a lot of time to kill.

There was this one shop that I loved at the airport, selling all kinds of delicacies from all over Indonesia to be brought home. However, I did not buy anything from here as I could not make up my mind.

I took KLM to get home this time.

The last gastronomic adventure took place at Bakmi GM Restaurant at the airport. My travel companion, Mr. Rosman, was on an earlier flight in the afternoon and I was left on my own before departure time.

Goodbye Indonesia. Will I see you again soon?

HOTEL REVIEW: OLYMPIC HOTEL, JAKARTA

We stayed at Olympic Hotel during the one night stay in Jakarta, Indonesia. on the 25th February 2025.

The building was an old one but it was well taken care of.

The room was that spacious though, which would not be that convenient if you are traveling with a partner.

The best thing during the stay was the breakfast buffet. There were many choices of food for the first meal of the day.

We stayed for a night and had to check out the next day in the afternoon, so there was not enough time to explore the surroundings. For one thing, the rate of the hotel was very affordable and should be the choice for people who were concerned of their budget.
