ENJOYING THE SCENERY AT PASIR BERBISIK

   26th JULY 2025    ~ The last stop for the Bromo trip was a spot called Pasir Berbisik, literally translated to: Whispering Sand.

 Legend has it once upon a time, a lady who wandered the area could listen to voices when she put her head on the ground.The whispering sound was actually the friction of the fine sand when the wind was blowing it away.

The ground was covered with fine, grey sand, as far as the eyes could see. I wonder if the sand was the ash of the volcanic activities that happened in the past. One could actually see the wavy movement of the sand if the wind was blowing strongly but that did not happen when we were there.

We did not any whispering sound though as we were too busy posing for the another photoshoot session. Be ready to be a model when you visit Bromo because there are just too many beautiful spots for you, which is good news for the Instagrammers and TikTokers as well Facebookers out there.
