KAPITAN KLING MOSQUE REVISITED

   16TH DECEMBER 2022   ~ I was back at Kapitan Kling Mosque which was near to the hotel I was staying. The difference was I was there for my Friday Prayer the first time I was there. This time round, I went in the evening for my Mahrib/Isya' prayers so the ambience was different.

This is the second mosque that is claimed to be the oldest mosque in Penang.

Hoping that there would be another next time to visit the holy building when I go to Penang.

A LATE LUNCH SESSION AT LAGENDA CAFE IN GEORGETOWN

 

17TH DECEMBER 2022 ~ The late lunch session in Georgetown took place in Lagenda Cafe with two UPM TESL Class of 1993 friends, Puan Aishah Aboo Bakar and Puan Siti Rohani Awang.

The cafe was thematically dedicated to the nation's musical legend: Tan Sri P. Ramlee. The walls were decorated with photos of the multitalented singer and actor and as people were eating, his music filled the air. Even the food was named after his popular films.

The food was good and this should be one place you should consider going of you are a die hard fan of Tan Sri P. Ramlee.

UPM TESL CLASS OF 1993 DINNER GATHERING AT PADANG BROWN

  17th DECEMBER 2022   ~ This was a pre-gathering before attending the wedding reception of a TESL friend the next day. Basically there were two groups who came for this dinner date of a huge group at Padang Brown Food Court. The activities done were just eating, chatting and taking photos, not in any particular order.

This sure would be one of the many memorable gatherings that we had. And I am sure there will be many more to come and hoping to see more friends.
