A FAREWELL GATHERING FOR COLLEAGUES WHO WERE PROMOTED AND TRANSFERRED

25th JANUARY 2023 ~ A dinner gathering was organized when two ex-colleagues of SMK Dato' Jaafar were promoted and transferred to other schools, The chosen venue this time was Infusion Cafe at KSL Hotel. This was an all-male gathering, involving the teachers and non-academic staff.

The two teachers who were promoted and transferred were Ustaz Amirulhakim Mahfudz and Mr. Noor Rahilme, now in SMK Mutiara Rini 2 and SMK Mutiara Rini, respectively.

The dinner was also joined by ex-colleagues who are now in other places. Mr. Hanafi Samad, the District Education Officer of Kulai, as well as Mt. Tukiman Sarmin and Mr. Abd. Rahman Ahmad who are in Johor Bahru District  Education Office.

Thanks to my ex-student, Mr. Asri Katni, the manager of Infusion Cafe, whom had helped me get the dinner done with no hassle.

As for mt two friends, wishing them the very best of luck in their new schools but I am sure we will be meeting again in other informal gatherings.

Once a Jaafarian, always a Jaafarian.
