EID DIARY: 1ST SYAWAL 1446H

The first day of Eid in the Islamic month of Syawal was started off by performing the Eid ul-Fitr prayer at the surau [a smaller community mosque] near my house.

The first guests to officiate the visiting activities for this year's Eid ul-Fitr were my second sister and her family members. Almost everyone was here except one of the niece's sons who was spending the Eid at his in-law's in Kuala Lumpur.

The last ones to arrive after that were Puan Rozaina Abdul Latif [a member of UPM TESL Class of 1993 clan], her husband and son. She is residing in Melaka and her in-law's house is not that far from my house. They are afew of regular Eid visitors.

That should be one brief report on how I spent my first day of Eid ul-Fitr this year.
