THE ONE NIGHT STAY AT SEBANA COVE RESORT, PENGERANG - PART ONE

I attended a wedding reception in Kota Tinggi on 1st June 2026 [READ HERE] and decided to detour for a staycation in Pengerang for one night. The chosen accommodation was Sebana Cove Resort.

One had to drive further in from the main road to get to the place.

It was a golf resort and a cove for yachts and sailboats. The place was huge, and that was my first impression. It was quiet and peaceful, faraway from any attractions. That would make Sebana Cove as the spot to choose if you want to relax and escape the busy city life.

As for the bedrooms, there were a few blocks which housed the guests. The room was spacious and clean enough, and came with a balcony.

We went to explore the large compound the next morning.

THE FIRST GASTRONOMIC ADVENTURE IN PENGERANG

1ST JUNE 2026    ~ The first gastronomic adventure in Pengerang happened for dinner. We randomly chose this place called Warisan Pak Busu Mat. The major attraction of this place is of its location - by the sea side.

There were already people who came for dinner when we arrived.

We tried its Asam Pedas Ikan Pari (Stingray) to go with our rice, besides fried cuttlefish and vegetables. The taste was alright, but we had had better dinner somewhere else.

We had to conclude our gastronomic trip by enjoying the view of the sea in the evening and striking a few poses before leaving the place.

BLOGGING FROM SEBANA COVE RESORT, PENGERANG

After attending a wedding reception of an ex-student in Kota Tinggi [READ HERE], I decided to go on a short staycation in Sebana Cove Resort, Pengerang, with a friend. I have no idea of any interesting places to visit but will have one or two gastronomic adventures for sure. It has been a long time since I last left home for leisure. Will be checking out tomorrow afternoon, but I am happy to still have to have the chance to be away from home.
