DONGDAEMUN UNDERGROUND SHOPPING CENTER

These are the underground shops that could be found in the "tunnel" that connects subway stations or underground pedestrians walkway. So as you are walking, you can always shop.

I really loved the colourful traditional hanbok but that would be one item I would not buy. I wanted to buy the mattress cover but I had doubt I could fit the whole thing in my luggage bag. It looked a bit bulky to be carried into the cabin.

Next time if I go to Seoul, I will make sure I will buy the mattress cover.

HI-TEA EVENT FOR SMKTUN'S ANGKLUNG GROUP

7th November 2015 ~ This should be some kind of reward for the boys for all the hard work that has been put throughout the year. The members of the Angklung Group of SMK Taman Universiti, Johor Bahru, once again gathered at Mutiara Hotel for the annual hi-tea. There were also three other teachers who joined us this time.

This has been our third year having the so-called annual event at the hotel. Personally, I like this place and its food, and a few others who have been here before think so too.

Good food and good company - I am sure everyone had a blast of a time. However, this is not the last meeting of the year. The group members still have other activities coming up next week.

DONGDAEMUN - THE STREETS OF FASHION

10th JUNE 2015 ~ We had to go back and stay in Seoul for one more night from Jeju Island, before catching our flight back home the next morning. With a few hours remaining, we went to the nearby shopping centres again and this time, we entered the malls and had a closer look at the items on sale.

By looking at the shirts, dresses, pants and what-not displayed in the shops and malls, I could easily conclude the Koreans are very fashionable people.

I was, however, only looking and not buying.

ANOTHER BIRTHDAY PRESENT CAME IN LATE

5th November 2015 ~ Sometimes, life is full of surprises.

Another birthday present that was long overdue, was handed over to me today. As the wise man says, it is better late than never.

Thanks a lot Mr. Suhaizie Jasmani. I could only pray to Allah, may you be blessed and prosper more in whatever (business) you are doing.

GIMPO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, SEOUL

An overview of Gimpo International Airport in Seoul, the second airport of the city. We were here to fly out to Jeju Island and later to get back to the capital city. This is the main airport for domestic flights, as well as a few international arrivals and departures.
