WHEN THE MOSCOW CIRCUS TROUPE WAS IN TOWN

5th DECEMBER 2018 ~ There is another circus troupe performing in town. I went to watch as there was nothing else to do during this school break and luckily, Mr. Hamzah Hamdan, an ex-student of SMKTUN, agreed to watch it too.

The venue was a bit further away from the city, at Puteri Harbour but the good thing was we did not have to worry about traffic congestion. The show started at 8:00 p.m. and it was not a weekend, the tent was not filled with many people. We got the cheapest tickets which cost us RM50 each. We were seated on the benches at the back row but the view was still alright. Even though there were still many empty seats for better viewing, there were staff eyeing spectators from changing places.

All in all, it was an entertaining show. The lighting and sound system were good and the circus was now more interactive as audience were asked to get into the ring by the clowns to participate in the activities.

We went out a bit late as we were seated at the far end but we managed to take selfies with a few of the performers.

Watching two live circus shows in one year should be an achievement for me. I wonder if there will be other circus performance next year.

FOREST CITY GOLF HOTEL AT A GLIMPSE - PART 2

Viewing the family suite room located on the 7th floor of Forest City Golf Hotel in Johor Bahru.

The suite comes together with a wide and long, semi-circle-ish balcony surrounding the room.

The suite was real big which I think could accommodate more than 10 people easily at one time, and equipped with a Jacuzzi. Or was it a bathtub?

I don't think I will have even the slightest chance to spend a night here. Everything just looked too expensive for me.

FOREST CITY GOLF HOTEL AT A GLIMPSE - PART 1

When a friend was staying at Forest Resort Golf Hotel, I was happy to catch a glimpse of this brand new hotel in Johor Bahru.

I was even given a ride on the big buggy and sent to the hotel entrance at the lobby from the parking lot.

The lobby itself was impressive. I was served with tea and biscuits when we were sitting at the settee for a short while.

WHEN MY EX-COURSEMATE AND FAMILY WERE IN TOWN

Puan Zanariah Abd. Shukor and family were in town again. Actually not really in town but they were staying at Forest City Golf Hotel, which is about 40 kilometres away from home. However I was happy to meet them there as I would have the opportunity to see one of the newest hotels/golf resorts in Johor Bahru.

I was there for like 1½ hours and usual, it was fun catching up.
