THE AREA BELOW AKASHI KAIKYO BRIDGE BRIDGE

   18TH JULY 2024    ~ We could already see the mega structure from afar and we went to see what we could do at Akashi Kaikyo Bridge of Kobe.

We spent most of our time there by going up the tower to get a closer look at the bridge - literally up close and personal. However, the area below the bridge itself was scenic and it was like a recreation area developed for people to brisk walk, jog or cycle. There were also a few locals who were fishing when we were there.

I could not remember what the building was but it looked more like a spot for filming Japanese drama series to me.

There was a place for people to sit and enjoy the view by the sea. The wind was blowing quite strongly and the water was a bit choppy at that very time. There were not many people at that spot as it was a working day and we were the only two tourists present at that time.

THE PET SHOP AT SANNOMIYA SHOPPING STREET

   19TH JULY 2024    ~ On the second day of my stay in Kobe, the very first thing I found when I was about to start exploring the city was a pet shop at Sannomiya Shopping Street.

Initially, I just watched the kittens and puppies from outside the shop but decided to get inside to see more of them.

I even asked the staff whether it was alright to take photos and I was free to do that.

It was a short and enjoyable visit to the pet shop. For one thing, this pet shop did not smell like a pet shop at all. Wish we could have something like this back home.

By the way, the name of the shop was Pet Paradise - and it felt like a paradise for cats and puppies to me.

TODAY IN HISTORY - MY DUTY AT THE COURT HAS ALMOST BEGUN

I was at Mahkamah Majistret [TRANSLATE: Magistrate Court] Johor Bahru today. It was something like an orientation session for me. I was there to just get myself familiar with the building and to observe the proceedings in the court before I start my official duty next week.

I am just a newbie, there is still a lot for me to learn. May Allah give me strength.

VISITING KAMPUNG AGONG IN PENAGA, PENANG - PART TWO

   16th AUGUST 2024    ~ What we basically did at Kampung Agong was to walk around the area and take as many photos as possible.

You could also get a ride on this if you were too lazy to walk [but you have to pay for it].

There were also houses for homestay. At the same, you could rent one spot in this village to carry out events like wedding receptions.

There could be other activities available for visitors here.

We spent about 2 hours here and had to make a move for the Friday prayer and then the symposium at 3:00 p.m.
