SPENDING A SATURDAY MORNING AT THE FIRE STATION

A few of the Kadet Bomba boys were directed to the Larkin Fire Station for marching practice that has something to do with the coming national level camping activity. I was not that happy actually as only five students from my school were chosen in the camping (despite all the promises) but more were put in for the marching event during the opening ceremony.

Things were not that organized and only HALF of the platoon members were there. The officers were trying to get many different schools to be involved in the whole thing and this was the result. Not much could be done though while we were there and we were let off by 12, thank God for that. And we would have to be there again the day after tomorrow. *sigh*

EX-STAFF CAME VISITING

We received a surprise visit from two teachers, husband and wife, who were teaching in SMKTUN before. They should have informed us earlier so we could prepare a feast but too bad, too late. :) Mr. Faris and Pn. Siti Adawiyah must have missed us a lot.

By the way, this is Nadia, an ex-student who was following her mother, Puan Zakiah. So there was no prediscussed plan of wearing the same coloured clothes. I wonder whether she missed SMKTUN too.

First the were rockers flying in the air. Then, the sounds of people shouting and clapping. After that, people were seen running here and there on the field. Nothing serious though, just a bunch of happy students taking part in rockets making competition at the school field.

Everyone looked happy. Lucky people, when I was in school I had nothing else to do but study all the time (exaggeration).

MY LAST CLASS FOR UHB1412 THIS SEMESTER

Today was the last class for UHB1412 section 47 which comprised of students from the Faculty of Computer Science. I hoped I had done my very best in imparting the necessary knowledge which could be helpful in the years to come. All in all, they were a pleasant group of people to be with and I wish them the very best of luck in their future undertakings.

A BARBECUE GATHERING FOR COLLEAGUES

It was originally planned to be done in UTM where we had our camping last week. However, due to the very heavy rain, the venue was shifted to Puan Noraliza's house. This was our first barbecue gathering. When I arrived, many had already left because I was there quite late after the Isya' prayer. This was a small scale event involving mostly teachers from the afternoon session, perhaps we could organize a bigger one next time. Thanks to Mr. Hisham and Puan Noraliza and everyone else who had lent a helping hand in carrying out the barbecue.

I "ran away" for a short while from the Saturday's replacement school day to attend a wedding of two ex-students, not the first couple from the school got married to each other. And there were also the bride's other brothers and sister awaiting. Thanks for inviting, may the happiness will always be with you, Fadhli and Irna, through the married life.
