THE YOUNG MASTERCHEFS IN ACTION

TOPIC: Process and Procedures - How to Make Cup Cakes
OBJECTIVES: At the end of the session, the students should be able to (1) Read, listen and understand instructions on how to make cup cakes: (2) Write a informal letter describing the process of making cup cakes.

The baking session was here again for the form one students. With the help of two Home Economics/Living Skills teachers, we were back in the kitchen to make our own cup cakes. Everybody was excited, and it could be the first time for some people, surprisingly, breaking an egg.

The class was divided into two groups: the girls came at 7:30 a.m. with full attendance while the boys at 10:00 a.m. but with a few people missing in action.

Let's just take a look at our young masterchefs in action:

Everybody went home with their cupcakes to be shown to (and eaten by) their parents and I am sure they would be very proud of their kids. Thanks a lot to Puan Suzana Sidek and Puan Zaini Yahya for their help in making the session a great success. See you again in the kitchen next year.
