23rd FEBRUARY 2024 ~ My brief excursion to Taiping was concluded by a gastronomic adventure at a food court near the Fire Station. This place should be a popular eating spot among the locals and visitors alike.
The row of stalls here seemed to be selling the same food item: Yong Taufu. Hence, it was Yong Taufu for my early dinner that day.
The initial plan was to eat Kue Tiaw at Dolly's but the restaurant did not operate on Friday. One valid reason to visit Taiping again soon.
The Yong Taufu here was of a different version. The one that we had back home was eaten with soup while the one eaten in Taiping was served with shrimp paste sauce.
That should conclude my outing trip with my cousin and her family, from Kulim to Taiping and back to Kulim again in one day. The next meet up session hopefully will happen in Sintok after this.
