STOPPING BY AT JAMBATAN GANTUNG KAMPUNG SEBERANG SUNGAI LEMBING

   16th SEPTEMBER 2025    ~ The official tourist guide of the Sungai Lembing trip, detoured to this spot where a hanging bridge was located at Kampung Seberang. I thought we were only going to the museum only but I was wrong. The locals should know better.

There seemed to be some kind of mining activities going on in this area many years before.

The hanging bridge that ran over Sungai Kenau connected the villagers of Kampung Seberang for an easy access to the other side of the place. There were actually four hanging bridges along the river.

So what could one do at this spot? Just walk from one end to the other, and enjoy the scenery. It was something that I would not get in the city. And you must take a lot of photos.

There was a holiday resort at the other side and we spotted three people enjoying themselves in the shallow river. Looking at the crystal clear water, that would be something I would love to do if given a chance.

We had taken enough photos and immersed ourselves in the unpolluted nature, so it was time to go to the museum.
