THE LAST MINUTE TEH TARIK SESSION WITH AN EX-STUDENT

Mr. Syazwan Shavarein, an ex-student of SMK Taman Universiti, was in town for work related purpose. He asked me out for tea before going back to Kuala Lumpur tonight and I immediately agreed as I was free at that moment.

I just arrived at the Post Office in Kampung Melayu when he called somewhere in Kempas. The chosen venue: Secret Recipe Restaurant at Taman Suria [near my house] as I did not want to get caught in the traffic jam during rush hour when people were going back home from work at 5.00 p.m.

It was only a short chat session over Teh Tarik but it was great to get to see someone I knew once in a while. Guess Mr. Syazwan will be one of the few regulars who still ask me out while the others have disappeared.
