GOING UP TOWER 188 IN KUANTAN WITH FRIENDS

   26TH JANUARY 2026    ~ After the hefty brunch at Puan Aunillah's house [READ HERE], it was time to get active and walk a bit. We then adjourned to Menara 188, the iconic Tower of Kuantan.

This was my second time here. The first time was 2 years ago, when I went to explore the city on my own [READ HERE].

 

Puan Hanna Sheikh Mokhtar and her daughter were the two brave souls who went on the extreme activity of Sky Walk around the Sky Deck.

The rest of us, other than enjoying the aerial view of Kuantan high up in the sky, were there to give moral support and cheer the mother-daughter pair.

There were many people when we were there, even though it was Monday evening. Make sure you visit Tower 188 when you are in Kuantan, to prove that you are a real tourist at heart.
