I attended the wedding reception of the son of Mr. Azmi and Pn. Izzati Syafinaz Abullah, held at their house in Taman Pulai Indah. Puan Izzati is an ex-colleague of SMK Taman Universiti. The groom, Mr. Faris, who was still a toddler at that time 30 years ago, used to tag along his mother when she came to school.
It was the third day of Eid and I had started my optional 6-day Fasting so I did not eat at the reception. However, the mother of the groom packed some food for me to break fast, to my delight.
Thank you Puan Izzati and Mr. Azmi for inviting me. Hope to be invited again for similar event for their other children in the future.
