THE 21st DAY OF EID 1436H - PART TWO

6th August 2015 ~ A group of friends and ex-students (who are related to one of the friends - what a small world this is) came visiting in a big group this evening. That was the biggest crowd so far. One of them, Puan Noraliza Mazni, had taken the trouble to bring special food for the gathering, to the delight of all the (very hungry) people present.

Three-quarter of the month of celebrating Eid has already gone but the joyous atmosphere could still be felt. Thanks everyone for coming - it is indeed an honour to be visited even though we are no longer working under the same roof.

THE 21st DAY OF EID 1436H - PART ONE

Never say no to free food and company of (gossiping) friends. So I went straight to Puan Yusidah's (new) abode at Taman Pulai Utama right after school after being invited for an Eid visit. There were other three staff from SMKTUN's office who arrived shortly after to get the ball rolling. It was just like old time though - something that I have missed doing.

Anyway thanks a lot Puan Yusidah for the kind thought, and the spicy spaghetti which I liked very much. 

THE 17th DAY OF EID 1436H

2nd August 2015 ~ Two ex-students came visiting late in the evening, Mr. Ahmad Haziq Che Ros and Mr. Idzwan Hadafi. They were both from SPM batch 2009 and active members of the "Kadet Bomba" marching team.

Now, who else has not come visiting yet?

THE FIRST THREE WEDDING RECEPTIONS IN THE MONTH OF SYAWAL THIS YEAR

1st August 2015 ~ There were three wedding receptions on the same day so I planned further ahead to make sure I could be at the three different venues before 5:00 p.m. Here's the report in brief:

With all the feast, I am already thinking of fasting on Monday and Thursday. *sigh*

THE 16th DAY OF EID 1436H

The first 2 ex-students to arrive were Mr. Assadiq and Mr. Amirul Husni, from SPM batch 2008 and 2010 respectively. It was much easier to entertain visitors when they were in a smaller group as I could give them my undivided attention. :)

Right after that, Puan Zakiah Abdullah and family members came to visit and they have already become family friends. Almost all the children are also my ex-students, Puan Safia (SPM batch 2006), Mr. Adam Syukri (SPM batch 2009), Mr. Idris will be sitting for SPM this year while Mr.Ibrahim is still studying in form 3. One of the children was not here today.

The last visitors were Dr. Shafiq Shahmi Mat Rebi with his wife and son. He is from SPM batch 2004 and currently working in the government clinic in Taman Universiti. I have seen him a few times in the clinic - but not to ask for any medical certificate.

To wrap up the Eid visiting activity of the day, I went to attend an open house held in the evening by Mr. Hisham Abdullah and Puan Nurhafizah Zulkifli, both are my old friends from SMKTUN. As usual, there were some other friends and ex-students there enjoying the food and each other company.

I think I have put on some weight by now already. *sigh*
