15th March 2016 ~ We went for a museum visit on our second last day in Siem Reap. Angkor National Museum is the museum that tells the history of Angkor Wat and all the other temples in the city, in great detail. Cameras are not allowed in the exhibition hall but you could take the photos at the foyer.
This would be a fun place to those who are doing research in temples, Angkor Wat and also Buddhism. As for me, I think I was intoxicated with too much information and history by the time I was out of the building.
