The Silk Farm was a big place. There are a few buildings which house mostly female workers. The steps in making a piece of silk item are quite lengthy and require a long time to complete.

Most of the work in the factory here was done by women. The silk threads were then woven using (traditional) machines manually.
An original piece of Cambodian silk is of a high quality and and all the processes involved in making one should explain the high price it bears.
We spent quite some time here and learned a lot from the explanation given by the guide. There was no entrance fee but be prepared to tip the guide as he would be asking for it.
