30TH MAY 2023 ~ I had been eyeing the grilled fish at Gadong Market when we arrived the night before and the gastronomic adventure finally happened here. We chose to eat at the market, like local Bruneians did.
The foods we had were plain rice [BND 1.50], Nasi Lemak [BND 1.00], huge grilled fish [BND 5.00] and 4 pieces of barbecued chicken wings [BND 5.00].
The food here was unbelievably cheap (without converting Bruneian currency to Malaysian Ringgit]. Gadong Market is THE place to go when you are in Bandar Seri Begawan and I really hope to go back there again some other time.
