before going to class
After four long days spent at Institut Aminuddin Baki, Genting Highlands, the basic Arabic Language Course for Communication finally came to its end.
discussing and observing
On the last day, the main task was to write a conversation by using the knowledge that we acquired from the lessons taught before. Writing might not be that problematic but the delivery could be something nerve-wrecking. It was another hilarious session watching other groups presenting and to laugh at ourselves as well when we committed any mistakes.
All in all, it was a short but successful course. By the end of the day, the participants were able to speak at least a few complete expressions in Arabic for communication. I just hope I will be able to practice the language once I go back to school and the ustaz and ustazah [teachers teaching Islamic Education] will have to be my sparring partners. You all be prepared!
And I hope that the Institute will be coming up with the second phase with our group as a continuation to this course so that everything that we had learnt will not end here. I am quite sure the participants will be very happy to come back for more.
So thanks to the lecturers, especially Puan Ainol Hidayah who had been with us throughout the course, Mr. Shaiful Azizi who taught us for two days and not forgetting Mr. Sahrul as well. May Allah repay all your good deeds - Fi amanillah.
