BARGE, BARGE, EVERYWHERE...

21st October 2014 ~ We finally found the Royal Barge Museum on the last day of our stay in Bangkok. And there were huge barges of the Thai royalties on display when they were not in use. One thing you should know, you have to be the King or his family members, in order to be able to cruise on the river in these beautiful barges.

Observing the craftsmanship of the barges,we could see the combination of skills and creativity, especially the intricate carving of the wood which was done on almost every part of the vessels. How did these people build gigantic ship that floated on water when technology was limited a long time ago? I need to watch more History Channel on cable TV after this.
