This is one movie in which fairy tale characters are put to act in one film. It must be cheaper to do it that way. Other than the wicked witch that is always present in most of the fairy tales, you would find Cinderella, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood and Jack (and the Beanstalk). In this story, the plot has been modified in a way that the characters are at some points, will relate to each other. This is a Disney's musical production, but it is not as enjoyable as the animation movies that I have watched before. The theme is a bit too heavy for kids and towards the end, it has become a bit too philosophical. Unlike the "Shrek" series, which also featured many fairy tale characters in their sequels, they are more entertaining. Anyway, Meryl Streep, who is playing the role of the with has been nominated for best actress in the upcoming Academy Awards.
It was a very fruitful destress session for me. I finally managed to go on an outing after all the hard work before school reopened up until now. And lucky enough someone is back for his semester break for company. We need to this again real soon.
