The Cathedral was built in 1877 and the bricks were brought in from France. I am quite sure there was no Mr. Hunchback there.

THE NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL, MINUS THE HUNCHBACK
12th December 2014 ~ [2ND DAY HCM] The cathedral was is located right in the centre of a few busy road - it is like in the middle of a roundabout. The Notre Dame Cathedral is another prominent landmark in the city and many people stop here to take photos.When we were there, it was not opened to the public so we just spent a short time there.
