REVISITING KUANTAN FOR A WEDDING RECEPTION OF A FRIEND'S SON

   14th SEPTEMBER 2025    ~  I was back in Kuantan to attend a wedding reception of a [UPM TESL Class 1993] friend's son, and to meet Puan Rusnah Jaafar again. The last time I met her was last year [READ HERE] and I remember making a promise to the groom-to-be who was present [at that time] that I would attend his wedding reception.

Mr. Ridwan A. Wahid [and his wife and daughter] and I pushed off from Damansara at 10:30 a.m. after attending a solemnization ceremony of another TESL friend [READ HERE]. We were caught in a massive road congestion, starting at Batu Caves area up to Bentong Toll Plaza. Fortunately, we managed to reach Dewan Permata Camar, somewhere near Tanjung Lumpur, at 2:30 p.m.

There were two other TESL friends who arrived slightly later than us. We were among the few last guests who left the wedding venue after the official hour. Puan Aunillah and her husband were with us earlier, attending the event in Damansara.

Congratulations to Puan Rusnah Jaafar on the arrival of a new female member into the family. Hoping to still be invited and visit Kuantan again for similar events in the future.
