THE ACCIDENTAL COFFEE SESSION WITH A TESL FRIEND AND HER FAMILY

   13TH SEPTEMBER 2025    ~ As I was walking around, looking at the paintings at the Art Exhibition in the Curve shopping mall, I heard someone was calling my name nearby. As I turned around, it was Puan Zarina Ibrahim, and there were her two daughters, daughter-in-law and grand-daughter tagging along.

She spontaneously asked me to join her for coffee and guess I had no choice but to say "Yes". We went to the newly-opened cafe called Gula Cakery where her son was the manager there.

It was a short sit in session as I had [or rather, we] another dinner date coming up right after. It was an unexpected meeting but it is always a pleasure to get to chat with an old friend. Thanks to Puan Zarina for the impromptu invitation and I enjoyed both the coffee and the company.
