The exact destination is Penang International Airport, but the AirAsia flight is diverted to Langkawi International Airport instead due to bad weather. The plane has landed for refuelling and the door is already opened, but there is no instruction to leave the ship.
As for now, people are queueing up for the bathroom. I wonder how long are we going to be stuck here before we are allowed to fly back to Penang. Will update later.
UPDATE:
We finally left Langkawi International Airport after an hour.
The first attempt for touchdown at Penang International Airport failed, and the plane had to circle and went for the second touchdown and thank god, we managed to land safely.
I got my Grabcar from the Airport at 4:30 p.m. heading straight to the hotel in Kepala Batas. The traffic congestion was real bad as it was time for people to get home from work and the jam was terrible on Friday afternoon. Eventually, I did my check in at 7:00 p.m. What a long day for me.
