THE LATE LUNCH AT LAWUK RESTAURANT IN THE CITY

   15TH SEPTEMBER 2025    ~ Eventually, from Pekan, we went back to Kuantan city for lunch. The restaurant was named "Lawuk" and the owner was Puan Aunillah's sister-in-law. The place was located at the touristy area of the city, near the Waterfront and Tower.

There were still many people dining in after 2:00 p.m. when we arrived.

Our table was full with the delicious food: Fish Gulai, Beef Rendang, Ketupat Periuk Kera, and Puding Raja for dessert. The one dish that I still remember until now would be its Ikan Patin Lemak Tempoyak. I will definitely come back to this place for this specific dish Pahang is famous for.

Puan Aunillah's husband then came to join us for lunch. The more the merrier.

That should conclude the TESL friends' day out in Pekan and we had to bid farewell to Puan Suriana. As for Puan Aunillah and her husband, they had one more day to entertain me in Kuantan.
