ATTENDING AN INDIAN WEDDING RECEPTION OF AN EX-STUDENT

   13th DECEMBER 2025    ~ I was invited by Miss Usha Veerappan, an ex-student of SMK Taman Universiti, to her wedding reception. I was rarely invited to an Indian event so I was always excited to attend one. The venue was located somewhere in Ulu Choh, Gelang Patah, at a wedding event called Dream House by Diva. The reception was held in the evening.

I was already greeted by an ex-student as early as I got out from my car.

There were a few others I met and they were in-charge of the dessert counter.

Definitely there were a few more arriving after that.

I was lucky to be seated with Mr. Dinesh and Mr. Jaya, or else I might feel out of the world. I did not see any other Malay guy in the hall.

There was also an ex-colleague of SMK Taman Universiti, Puan Parimalah.

I also met a few parents who still recognized me as the their children's teacher many years ago.

There was a dance performance for the guests and the bride was also in it.

It was a happy occasion to be able to see people whom you have not met for a long time.

I got to thanks Miss Usha one more time for her kind thought of inviting me to her big day. Wishing her and your beloved partner a happy married life filled with love and joy throughout.
