BANDUNG DAY 2 - VISITING A TEA PLANTATION

16th September 2014 ~ On our way down from the volcanic mountain, we stopped at a tea plantation in the area called Ciwidey. What we did just took a lot of pictures but doing just that in a tea plantation was so much fun and everybody got real excited. I wonder if that was the effects of the tea leaves.

BANDUNG DAY 2 - KAWAH PUTIH

16th September ~ After breakfast, we went straight to Kawah Putih. It was actually a volcanic crate that was filled with water and formed a lake. The water was a bit greenish and the soil was yellowish as sulfur was condensed under the hot sun. The smell of sulfur filled the air and it would linger on your clothes for a long time. I wonder whether the water in the lake is acidic.

It was not good to stay there for too long. We could see many people wearing face masks. This is one place you should never miss though when you are in Bandung. Beautiful scenery and lower temperature here, and there are actually a few other attractions that we stopped by right after.

WELCOME TO BANDUNG - VISITING TRANS STUDIO

15th September 2014 ~ We finally arrived in Bandung after the long hours on the road and the bad traffic jam getting out of Jakarta and getting into Bandung. Since we still had time, our tour guide took us to Trans Studio. It should originally be on the second day of our stay here but this adjustment made to the schedule was brilliant. We did not go into the amusement park as the money for the entrance fee (which should cost about RM50) could be spent on something else later. There was a shopping mall that looked expensive so we decided to enter but not to stay that long there too.

According to the itinerary, it should be a photography session at Trans Studio so we just followed the plan - we took a lot of photos, and selfies too, and went to the hotel to check in.
