FRIED BRAZILIAN SPINACH FOR LUNCH TODAY

before the harvest

The time had come to reap what I had sown. The Brazilian Spinach was given to me by a friend, Puan Sakinah Ismail, all the way from Seremban. After many months, the leaves did not look fat enough but they should be matured enough for consumption.

after the pruning and fertilizing
Known as "Bayam Brazil" in the Malay Language, it also called Samba Lettuce. Guess one could do the samba after eating the leaves.

the harvest

It was Fried Brazilian Spinach with shrimps on the dining table for lunch and it sounded expensive and international. The vegetable was crunchy and it tasted like vegetable. 😀

I should be planting my own vegetables backyard as it proved to be helpful at time when people are not allowed to be mobile to curb the spread of the virus.
