ROAMING THE ROAD OF HONG KONG ISLAND

"All the leaves are brown,
And the sky is grey
I've been for a walk
In a winter's day"
The Beatles in "California Dreamin' "

2nd December 2012 ~ We had finally reached the last day of our stay in Hong Kong. However, we still had a little time to spend as the flight back home would only depart at about 4:00 p.m. After we had checked in earlier and dropped our baggage at Cathay Pacific counter at about 10:30 a.m., we decided to explore a part of Hong Kong that we had not visited: Hong Kong Island. Unfortunately, the weather was still cloudy that morning, the sky was grey and foggy and it drizzled a bit. I was sure the photos would turn out better if there was sunshine.

Basically we just spent our time observing and admiring the beautiful structure and skyscrapers. The land here on the island was utilized to the maximum for construction and the place that we went to was most probably one of the commercial or administration areas.

That was the end of of our 5D4N trip to Hong Kong, Shenzen and Macau. Although we had not covered most of the tourist spots in HK, it was definitely a memorable holiday especially when we made it around the places on our own. To Mr. Shafiq, thanks for the company - I would not make it to Hong Kong if I didn't have any travel companion. So are we heading to any other place next?
