For a better understanding, compare these two sentences: (1) If you want to remain warm, you have to stand close to me. [Bahasa Melayu: close = dekat] (2) To make sure that the cookies remain crispy, the bottle lid must be kept closed all the time. [Bahasa Melayu: closed = tertutup]
