BALI DAY 4 - PURA TANAH LOT

This very last temple is one of the most photographed place in Bali. There are two reasons while people come here: to see the temple and the sunset. When we were there, there were a lot of people as if there was some sort of a carnival going on.

shops and stalls everywhere

The temple was located on the top of a small hilly island which would be separated from the mainland during high tide. However, when the water subsided during low tide, we could just walk anywhere around the temple but visitors were not allowed to enter the place.

snake, anyone?

We were unlucky as the sky was cloudy so we could not see the sunset. Or else, the whole place would be more scenic and the photos taken could turn out better.
