EXHIBITION AND KOLAM COMPETITION IN SCHOOL

SATURDAY, 27th APRIL ~ The Tamil Language Society held an exhibition on Indian culture and a "Kolam" making competition at the school hall. I came in very late so I managed to see only the "Kolams" on display.

"Kolams" are actually designed using coloured rice grains. To create a beautiful "kolam" would require determination and creativity.

 

Congratulations to all the students and teachers who had worked hard to organize this event for the school. As a suggestion, maybe there should be a special category for other non-Indian students who would like to take part in the competition next year.
