INSIDE JAPANESE OVERSEAS MIGRATION MUSEUM

[DAY 4] 5th June 2014 ~ We found this museum by chance while walking to Red Brick Warehouse and stopped to have a look what was inside on our way back. It was just a small museum but the exhibits were excellently done. They told the stories of the Japanese migration to other parts of the world during the depression era. And there was no entrance fee.

History should not be limited to reading and textbooks. We need to have a museum like this to educate people to see history come alive. I wonder if the government spend a huge sum of money to get one built or upgrade the present ones we have, will people still respond negatively.
