I chose to stay at Armenian Suite Penang in Armenian Street, Georgetown for the second time from 16th - 18th December 2022.
Firstly, its strategic location at the heart of the touristy area of the city enabled me to walk from one place to another easily.
Secondly, I like the interior decoration of the hotel. Even though it looked just like an old shophouse building from outside, the room was clean and comfortable and appeared classic and expensive.
Thirdly, the rate was reasonable for a solo traveler like me.
The only downside is that there was no elevator of lift so it was not recommended for the elderly or for people with knee problem.
There was now a small cafe on the ground floor of the hotel, selling fruit juice and cold drinks. Passers-by could come in, sit and quench their thirst inside after roaming the streets outside under the hot, blazing sun.
One hotel for people who are not looking for a luxurious stay in Penang.
