BAN NA KORN NAI MUSEUM IN SONGKHLA

23rd NOVEMBER 2024    ~ After visiting the animals at Songkhla Zoo, we headed to Songkhla Old Town to search for Ban Na Korn Nai Museum. It was tucked away in one of the shophouses/houses in the old town.

We actually entered the museum from the back entrance and there were only a few people when we arrived.

The name of the museum was Ban Na Korn Nai Museum of King Rama lX. There was not much information that I could find about the museum on the Internet.

The museum was dedicated to the Thai King. Most of the exhibits were photos and Chinese ceramics which were mounted on the walls.

The place was quite small and there just too many things on the walls and everywhere. Definitely this place was not be suitable for a large group of visitors.

I did not go up the stairs to the next level which looked too steep and high for my problematic knees.

This place was an option for visitors who went to the old town area. Too bad we had not enough time to explore the place. By the way, it was already raining when we arrived there so movements were limited.
