16th MAY 2025 ~ I had to do some walking to explore Sungai Petani town that Friday morning. It seemed I was the only person roaming the place and I could happily crossed the road without getting worried to be hit by any vehicles. Where had all the people of Sungai Petani gone that morning?

I successfully got my picture taken in front of the huge SUNGAI PETANI sign in the heart of the town. Try and guess who took the photo for me? I was asking a gentleman who was sweeping and cleaning the area for his help, and he happily obliged. We even had a short conversation before leaving the place.
Been there, done that. I am glad I made the decision to stay in Sungai Petani for 2 nights so I had the chance to explore. And I might return to this place, soon. Kedah... I'll be back.
Lovely pics you got there Enal; brought back memories🥹. Lived here 5 years as a child, came back later and lived for another 17 years before moving to KB. Do come again, I sound like a shop assistant 😂, and this time, we should go some places together with the northern gang!
