MOVIE REVIEW - "THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN"

I went to watch this movie by accident - there was no prior plan but I did not regret it. The latest The Amazing Spider-man movie is a remake - so there is no Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. It is the old spidey story with new actors playing the roles of the hero, heroin and villain. You must already know the plot by now. Peter Parker (which is not that nerd anymore) got bitten by a spider, could change into a superhero called Spider-man and had to encounter the bad person, the professor who could turn into a giant lizard. And the hero must win.

I enjoyed the movie tremendously. Great effects and they must look good in 3-D. Long live Spider-man, one of the surviving superheroes I grew up with. Watching this movie made me feel much younger - those were the days.

The production should preserve the original Spider-man song that was used in the TV series because it is, how should I put it, haunting and jazzy. Let's....

Spiderman, Spiderman,
Does whatever a spider can
Spins a web, any size,
Catches thieves just like flies
Look Out!
Here comes the Spiderman.

Is he strong?
Listen bud,
He's got radioactive blood.
Can he swing from a thread
Take a look overhead
Hey, there
There goes the Spiderman.

In the chill of night
At the scene of a crime
Like a streak of light
He arrives just in time.

Spiderman, Spiderman
Friendly neighborhood Spiderman
Wealth and fame
He's ingnored
Action is his reward.

To him, life is a great big bang up
Whenever there's a hang up
You'll find the Spider man.
