Muar is a unique place in the state of Johor as people eat sate [skewed barbecued meat] for breakfast. To complement the meal, it has to be its Mee Bandung.
A group of friends slipped out for a short time while the (state level) chess competition was in progress, to enjoy breakfast just like the locals. Killing two birds with one stand you must when the opportunity popped up.
The restaurant chosen was Satay Warisan in the heart of Muar town. The eating place was full of people when we arrived but we were lucky to secure two tables there.
This is one of the things that we could only do once in a year. Guess we will have to wait for another year for the next session.
