5TH AUGUST 2022 ~ Happiness is when an old friend announces he/she is going to be in town and it is time to meet up for dinner/supper/breakfast/lunch/tea. Mr. Mohd. Ridwan Wahid, a friend of UPM TESL class of 1993, and his family members were back in town again and it was customary for us to meet up for meals. I suggested to gather at Md. Aris Yong Taufu in Kampung Melayu for its popular none other than Yong Taufu obviously. This was the first time they were brought here and I was glad that they liked the food introduced to them.
6TH AUGUST 2022 ~ The next morning, we made a return trip to the food court at Larkin Sentral for breakfast. One reason: there were many choices of food from the stalls. And we had very big breakfast indeed. The pool of food consisted of Idli, Sardine and Chicken Murtabak, Lontong, Kueytiaw Soto and Apam Balik.
Thanks again Mr. Ridwan and family for constantly asking me to accompany them for dinner and breakfast every time they are in Johor Bahru. I now have to try and find other new eating places to take them next time.
